| John is an author, educator, musician and performer and has been playing and teaching professionally for the past 35 years, He is a member of the Music faculty at Scottsdale Community College, one of the only colleges in the USA located on an Indian reservation. |

| With his love and dedication to the Native American Flute John Vames has launched hundreds of people on "flute journeys" of their own with his classes, workshops, and self-instructional books. John holds a Masters degree in Music theory and performance from Northwestern University. He also teaches Classical and Jazz piano, clarinet, and sax and has performed with some of the top names in the entertainment industry. |
